Our current featured video is A Mild Case of Bibliomania by R. B. Russell. During this interesting short film, the narrator muses on his love of books which at its height became a need to own all the published and printed works of his favourite authors. Along the way we get to hear a little of his fondness for the works of Arthur Machen and Sylvia Townsend Warner. The narration is well paced and pitched, a pleasure to listen to, gently guiding us through his bibliomania. When his passion for collecting leads to the acquisition of unpublished works, his next step is to set up as a publisher, and so began the ‘Tartarus Press’...
