Two lovely new acquisitions uploaded today to treasureandrelish.com:


'Pickwick Papers' First Edition, published in 1837. This comic masterpiece following the misadventures of the Pickwick Club, became Charles Dickens' first novel after after it's initial sucess in serial form created a publishing phenomenon, making the novel a 'best seller' of the day. With wonderful illustrations by Phiz.

We've also added a beautiful blind stamped leather bound copy of Oliver Goldsmith's novel 'The Vicar of Wakefield', published in 1855.

As well as a copy of The Holy Bible, a lovely nineteenth century leather bound pocket sized bible in Very Good condition. This contains the Old and New Testaments in double column spacing, as well as 'References' to the text in the margins, and six tipped in plates. Circa 1880.
