Approx size: 19cm H x 15cm W (7 ½”H x 5 3/4"W). 293pp. b&w illustrations, as well as several photograph reproduced. 2 pages of publishers advertisements. Brown bevelled boards with titles in gilt and black inked line drawings to the spine and front. Condition: Very Good. Spine a little faded; Dust staining to outer page edges; Extremities lightly bumped and rubbed; Front free endpaper has been glued onto the pastedown, presumably to hide a bookplate underneath (slight outline visible); No inscriptions; Odd mark within, though on the whole, clean bright and tight.

Canadian Egerton Young (1840-1909) was a Wesleyan Methodist minister who served a missionary among the Cree and Ojibwa tribes in northern Manitoba.
