First edition. 4to (approx 11 ¼” H x 9 ¼”W). 407pp. Hardback - light grey boards with title in gold on the spine. Dust jacket with illustration to the front and plain red rear. "A comprehensive study of one of Britain's most influential schools of art, and its birth and development from its international forebears." Over 400 b/w illustrations. Inside is clean, bright and tight; No annotations or marks; No tears. Jacket has a discoloured rubbing down the front fold, and a slight bump to the bottom of the spine. Book condition is very good.
