Some coloured chalk drawings, but the vast majority in greyscale. Artists represented include: Max Beerbohm, Lewis Baumer, D.Y. Cameron, Jessie King, Munro Orr, Arthur Rackham, Lester Sutcliffe, Jan van Essen, A.M. Gorter, W.O.J. Nieuwenkamp, Lucien Monod, T.A. Steinlen, Arthur Kampf, Heinrich Rauchinger, Albert Engstrom & J.G.A. Acke. Upper wrap is lightly stained and chipped, with the tip of the bottom right corner missing. Spine is brittle and cracked along its length with reading creases and has bottom section missing. Bindings still secure. Rear wrap contains advertisements for artist’s materials. 9 pages of advertisements (inc inside upper wrap). Pages are in good order with a little browning. Evidence of water stain to the bottom of some pages, fortunately the illustrations are not affected. Overall condition of book is fair to good.
