“Since as a young man seeking to widen his knowledge of the world, Martin Hürlimann travelled through Asia and the Orient during the years 1923-28 the face of the East has utterly changed. When, therefore, the author – by now a man of mature outlook and wide culture -  recently revisited the scene of his earlier travels, he was singularly well placed to draw comparisons and assess the significance of present events in the countries of the East.

Book condition: Used – Very Good. Inside is clean and bright, though with some very light tanning to the margins; All pages present; No inscriptions. Outer VG. Jacket chipped at extremities, with a few closed tears; Under protective cover.

Overall Condition: Very Good
