‘Alicante’ (2/25) by Bernard Munch (1921-2009); French. Signed etching on non-acid free paper. No date, circa 1970s. From a small edition of 25. 30cm W x 40.5cm H (11 ¾” x 15 ¾”). Unframed. Signed bottom right in pencil ‘Munch’. Scarce. No other prints from this edition listed for sale at the time of cataloguing. Condition: Very Good. Light age tanning to the margins, also with a small watermark on the LHS (see photograph).  Condition: Very Good

Bernard Munch studied at the Ecole du Louvre, Paris and in the studio of the French-American printer Henri Goetz (1909-1989). Many exhibitions in Paris, as well as London, Belfast and other locations.
