“This is the story of one of the strangest deceptions ever practiced upon the world in general, and upon one woman in particular; a story of the long suffering and patience of that woman, and of a man’s villainy; the tale of one who left the things of Life – touched Death- and stretched hands from the grave back into Life again.”
