Antique Spelter Statuettes

Pair of Antique Spelter Figures, set on turned wooden bases with brass titles in French for day and night. Approx 51cm H. Le Jour - A man standing astride an eagle with spread wings, a flaming torch in his hand. La Nuit - A woman astride an eagle with spread wings, a star in her hand. Spelter. Some rubbing and minor discolouration consistant with age; No breaks or cracks. Condition: Very Good. Thought to be French and from an early part of the 20th century.
