Upper board has silhouette in black, white and gilt of David. Illustrated end papers showing David sitting on a stile. Condition: Upper board spine groove torn and has been sellotaped by previous owner; Spine and board corners bumped & chipped; Sellotaped repair to tissue guard on page 160, plate undamaged; Light foxing throughout, not on plates.
Excellent illustrations by Frank Reynolds that really add to the story. All of the plates intact.
Book condition is fair to good.
Would make a good reading copy and companion to other titles in this series illustrated by Frank Richards.
