We now have a new selection of pochoir prints by various artists including: Carlègle, Marty, Jan van Brock, Ebel & Lepape. These illustrations are all taken from the French fashion periodical La Gazette du Bon Ton and are available to buy here on our website.
La Gazette du Bon Ton, was a publication that set the tone for sophisticated style and taste over the art deco era. The illustrations were of the latest creations from the leading Paris couture houses and were often carried out by the top art deco artists of the time. The Gazette was published between 1912 & 1925 (although not during the 1st World War) and had its pages printed in a loose format (not bound) and enclosed within a stiff cover. These original pages are often sought after by collectors and amateurs alike and when framed make superb pictures; historical, decorative & interesting.
