Published by The Science Fiction Book Club by arrangement with Rich & Cowen Ltd, London, 1957. Hardback with dust jacket. Blue boards with red ground under the titles to the spine. Red & pink dust jacket. Approx size: 19cm H x 13cm W. 160pp. Title No. 26 in the series which ran from 1953-1982.
Condition: Used. Very Good. Inside: All pages present; No tears; No inscriptions; Clean, bright, and tight. Boards good and clean. Dust Jacket: Chipping to the top edge and corners, with a small amount of loss, also a few (taped) closed tears (pls see pic); Light tanning to the spine; Now under a protective cover.
An interesting title for the collector. This is the UK version of Dick’s first novel, published in the US in 1955 as Solar Lottery. World Of Chance, the UK version, has a revised text which is considerably different to Solar Lottery, with some passages removed, however it does contain text that was deleted from the original Solar Lottery manuscript.
Overall Condition: Very Good.
