Untitled watercolour on the 'Banks of the River Severn'- Attributed to E. Edwards (1738 -1806) ARA (Associate of the Royal Academy), Teacher of perspective at the Royal Academy 1788-1806. Image size is approx 25.5cm W x 18cm H. Eighteenth century English watercolour of a wharf on the River Severn, with workers most likely connected with the woollen business creating an interesting scene. The style is soft, with the row of buildings receding into the distance. The colours have become muted and show in warm tones of light browns, fawns & pinks. New cream mount and solid oak frame. Frame size is approx 40cm W x 34.5cm H. Condition of picture is fine. Pre-owned.
