Edwards (1738 -1806) ARA (Associate of the Royal Academy), teacher of perspective at the Royal Academy 1788-1806. Image approx 27cm W x 19.5cm H. Lovely English watercolour recently reframed with a new cream mount and a solid oak frame. Under glass. Good perspective and contrasting of colours and shadows. The style is soft and rounded, the colours are slightly muted through age, but good non the less; fawns, pinks & creams. Frame size is 42cm W x 36cm H. Unknown round mark in the paint to the bottom right of the picture. Condition of picture is fine. Frame and mounts are new. Pre-owned.
