Arden Editions give the reader and student a fuller understanding of the play. A long introduction, providing a more exact dating of the play and discussing in greater detail than before Shakespeare’s treatement of his various sources, and which deals with the interpretation of the play in light of 20th century criticism. A very useful edition.
